Thoughts on the iPhone 5C

Yesterday, Apple introduced the iPhone 5C which has been heavily leaked for a few months now however I feel like Apple didn't achieve much by introducing it and here's why:

Recently, I have been seeing many potential iPhone buyers wondering how the iPhone 5 fairs against regular day to day use so I thought I would create a gallery of my personal iPhone 5 because no words can answer this question better than a picture and also it is perfect timing since the iPhone 5S is right around corner and will have the same design. I own a black 16GB iPhone 5 which I have been using since the day of its release on September 21, 2012 making it 350 days. Also, I absolutely hate cases and screen protectors so this iPhone has endured around a year NAKED. I am however, very careful and have never placed it with keys or anything like that in a pocket but it has been dropped around 2 times on carpet and 5 times on the floor (none on concrete.)
 

GetGlue Updated to Match iOS 7 Ahead of the Public Release

Last week we reported that Flickr had released an update for its app which included a camera that is very similar to the one found in iOS 7. Now, GetGlue has also been updated and at first glance, the iOS 7 look is very clear from the top bar's buttons and font alongside a few other "flat" re-designs such as the icons. iOS 7 is expected to be released very soon with some even predicting that it may arrive as soon as this Tuesday, September 10th when Apple will announce the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.

Expect the September iPhone Event to be Sent Tomorrow

As we have seen before, Apple usually sends their invitations a week ahead of an upcoming event meaning September 3rd is likely to be the invitation date for the widely agreed upon September 10th event.
